Telephone Sales Executive - Express Newspapers

Description

We are looking for tenacious, professional and enthusiastic individuals to come and help us sell classified advertising into our stable of titles.

Successful candidates will become part of an established team selling either recruitment, travel, property, motors or business to business advertising into the Daily & Sunday Express, or the Daily Star.

In a challenging market we are only looking for candidates who can cut it in a competitive environment. Day to day duties include cold calling, account management, booking adverts & other administrative duties. Due to the nature of our business, we are looking for people with flair who also see the importance of attention to detail.

Training includes a two week initial induction course, followed by on-the-job training. We offer a structured progression for your first two years - progression that is accompanied by an increased salary.

We do not expect you to be experienced in sales, although we do require that you show a natural aptitude and desire to sell. If you do have experience in sales, Express Newspapers is the best place to hone and develop your existing skills.

Salary: GBP 15,908.00 to GBP 18,000.00 per year
Salary Details: Gross bonus potential of £20,000 per annum. Around £1,000 of additional benefits that are introduced over first year. Free gym membership, BUPA healthcare & company pension available after 3 months service.
