JOG IT, RUN IT, WALK IT, CRAWL IT!

Sunday 14TH October 2007


Brand new for 2007, the Hearts First Jog – Woburn Abbey will be taking place in the beautiful surroundings of Woburn Abbey, Bedfordshire. Set in an idyllic 3,000 acre deer park, the Abbey has been home to the Dukes of Bedford for nearly 400 years and lies at the hearts of an Estate which includes the award-winning Safari Park and the world renowned Golf Club. This is a truly special location full of history and ancient tales.

Starting and finishing in the park, join other participants as you walk, jog or run the 5k (approx 3 mile) course around the grounds of Woburn Abbey. There’ll be lots of exciting things happening in and around the area on the day so sign up now and start getting sponsored for what promises to be a fantastic day out for everyone involved. It’s the perfect opportunity to get together with friends, family and colleagues and have a great time for a great cause. By taking part and raising money for the British Heart Foundation you will be playing a vital role in continuing the fight against heart disease – the UK’s single biggest killer.

The event is a SPONSORED jog and as such the BHF asks you to raise as much sponsorship money as you can. The registration fee for this event will ONLY cover our costs so please ask all friends, family and work colleagues to support you by pledging sponsorship money for this event.

The BHF is the nation’s heart charity, dedicated to saving lives through pioneering research, patient care, campaigning for change and by providing vital information. We urgently need your help. We rely on your donations of time and money to continue our life-saving work.
