The Ugarchin municipality is located in North-Central Bulgaria in Lovech District. The Municipality consists of 1 town and 12 villages. The municipal road network is of length 69 km, consisting of fourth-class roads, which connect the ten population centers to the center of the Municipality.The territory of Ougarchin Municipality is characterized by mild and favorable climate, varied relief with forest-covered or barren hills, alternating with narrow or wide meadows and plains typical of the Fore-Balkan. The rivers coil through the green meadows and fields, and also between the vertically rising rocks characteristic of the region. There are no industrial polluters on the territory of the Municipality, hence its clean air, water and soils. The agricultural produce is organic.The Moroun, Sveta and Sopot dam lakes are good facilities for tourism and recreation.
