Hi,
We're two friends who want to set up a proper languages & hobbies’ club. Because we’re new to London we haven’t yet met too many people so you’re welcome to join the club.
We offer English, French, computer skills, philosophical discussions, etc. and, most importantly, drinking skills (and some good jokes!) in exchange of whatever language(s)/skill(s) you can bring along.
We want to do this (pretty) seriously though; however that doesn’t mean we can’t have a few drinks afterwards
We know a couple of good public places (mainly cafes) where it’s quiet enough to actually hear each other converse.
Just email us with your name, email address and skill(s). It doesn’t matter what you can offer - artistic knowledge, roller-blading skills, fire-making know-how, writing talent, comic book geekiness, Swedish (the language), dancing steps, clothing & fashion sense, etc. – just drop us a line. Everybody’s got something they can share or talk about, even us!
Once we get enough people interested we’ll send an email around to everyone. If we don’t get enough replies, ah well, tough shit… Ah go on, drop us a line, you know you want to…
