GENUINE BARGAIN!!!
ROVER 216 1.6 AUTOMATIC 5 DOORS HATCHBACK
1998 - 56,400 GENUINE MILES FROM NEW
LONG MOT UNTILL FEB 2009 - TAXED JUNE 2008
CAR FOR SALE AS BEEN REPLACED BY NEW CAR
The car has covered only 56,400miles, it is a good runner , starts first time every time. The interior is good and has a face-off CD player fitted, however there are a number of exterior cosmetic faults. As far as I was told by previous owner, there is NO accident damage, and I have taken the time below to describe those faults.
1. Mechanically Perfect
The car has just passed its MOT so has 12 months MOT and taxed untill June 2008 so is ready to drive away. Mechanically the engine is very healthy and I just spent £80 to do a FULL SERVICE check up, so the engine, gearbox, brakes, tyres... in fact EVERYTHING works in good condition.
2. New Items
(1) New immobiliser installed 3 months ago at a cost of £160
(2) A new battery with a 3 year warranty.
(3) Other new items were put in the car on Feb 2008 are as below:
(4) The cambelt was changed at 56,000 miles which as you probably know is a very expensive and time consuming job and it is now good for over 50,000 miles.
(5) New windscreen wiper and backscreen wiper
3. Exterior Problems
As I mentioned above, there are a few minor cosmetic faults. As you will easily see from the photos the car looks fine from a short way off.
(1) The dents on boot door and I have taken photos of these so that you can see the damage.
(2) Slight dent on left wing
(3) Driver’s window needs replacing.
(4) A few scratches around the car but nothing that looks to unsightly
As you will see, this is not a showroom car, but if you can live with a few imperfections, this is going to be one serious bargain!
