Samoens, Verchaix - French Alps
Chalet Hotel La Terrasse de Verchaix has been beautifully renovated and offers 7 en-suite rooms, sleeping a total of 18 guests. We have unrivalled views over the Grand Massif from our restaurant and large terrace.
Our emphasis is on providing a home from home in the Alps, in a relaxed, friendly environment and it is our personal touches and flexibility that entice guests back year after year.
We are looking for an outstanding couple to gradually take on responsibility for the day to day operations of the chalet hotel and restaurant.
This position is available on a permanent 8 month contract, December 2008 to end April 2009 and June to September 2009, plus 20 days paid holiday, and competitive salary. If you are looking for a lifestyle change and welcome the challenge of living and working in the French Alps in a demanding but fun environment then we would like to hear from you. Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following criteria:
• Relevant catering and hospitality experience.
• Full EU passport or French work visa.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Dedicated and motivated to deliver a quality product
