Description
The Korean Cultural Centre UK is looking for a suitable candidate to take on duties with immediate start. The suitable candidate will be well-organised, a good communicator and well-motivated.
We are part of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea so perfect spoken and written English is a MUST because you will be writing speeches for diplomats, and possibly the Ambassador. Ability to work to deadlines and a smart appearance are also essential.
Essential skills:
Computer literate – you will be using Word, Outlook and Excel on a daily basis
Good telephone manner – you will be required to make calls on behalf of the embassy
Formal business Letter and Speech-writing skills
Ability to research information online
Proof-reading – you will ensure the quality of English-language press-releases and correspondence
Optional:
You will need a CRB check; this can be arranged when you start
An interest in Culture is a must
An interest in Korea is a great bonus
Knowledge of the Korean language is not required, but would be a great help
Immediate start (could be tomorrow for the right candidate)
