Description
Temporary Trading Officer (Until 5 December 2008)
London EC1V
Salary Circa. £18k pro rata
The National AIDS Trust is the UK's leading independent policy and campaigning voice on HIV.
The National AIDS Trust’s trading company produces a wide range of HIV and AIDS awareness-raising materials and is a major global distributor of Red Ribbons. We are looking for a dedicated team player, with a primary focus on the packing and distribution of customer’s orders and the management of stock (which will include some heavy lifting). The role also involves liaising with our customers and suppliers on the telephone, as well as assisting the Trading Manager in other administrative systems.
The position is offered on a full-time (35 hours per week), fixed-term basis from the beginning of September to 5 December 2008. Expected working hours are 09h30 – 17h30, Monday to Friday.
The application pack can be downloaded from our website www.nat.org.uk or can be obtained by telephoning 020 7814 6767. All materials are available in alternative formats on request.
To apply for this position please send a copy of your CV and a short written supporting statement (maximum of 500 words) on how you fulfil the essential criteria outlined in the Person Specification, with an equal opportunities monitoring form to The National AIDS Trust, New City Cloisters, 196 Old Street, London EC1V 9FR, or email your application to admin.vol@nat.org.uk
Closing date for applications: Wednesday 27 August 2008 @ 1 pm
Interviews will be held during w/c 1 September 2008 at the National AIDS Trust offices
