Description
My client is a major force in supplying automotive components and systems to the domestic, commercial and heavy duty vehicle markets. With over 200 privately owned sites across the entire globe and employing over 180,000 staff my client really is a force to be reckoned with.
Based in West London, your role will be to provide support to the Proving department and performance test rigs with regard to the instrumentation and low voltage electrical equipment.
Responsibilities will include:
• Installing and supporting the electrical aspects of instrumentation fitted to proving & performance rigs
• Carrying out low voltage electrical work
• Design and build PCB’s and/or instrumentation boxes as needed
• Provide accurate records/reports
You will also be required to liase with other departments therefore excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
The ideal candidate will be:
• HND/HNC qualified or equivalent in a relevant engineering/electrical discipline
• Self motivated
• Well organised
• Good communication skills
Any experience/knowledge of Three Phase would also be a distinct advantage.
Based in West London, this role is easily commutable from Surrey, North, Central and South West London and is a 5 minute walk away from the nearest tube station.
My client is offering a salary of up to circa £30k per year with benefits to include:
