The variety of compatible formats is vastly superior to most portable DVD players, especially the DVD Audio and HDCD formats, both of which offer far better fidelity than audio CDs. To ensure the best possible audio performance, the M520B includes a built-in Dolby Digital decoder for DVD soundtracks, along with a Dolby/DTS SPDIF digital output that connects directly to 5.1-channel A/V receivers.
