Telemarketer required March 16th 2009. Database Creation + Appointment Booking
An opportunity has arisen to work in an exciting startup company in the furniture business. We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic, well spoken, perfect English speaking, and mature person to join our company.
Your role will be driving the creation of a database of clients and suppliers which we can see evolving daily. You will cold call these companies before emailing them an eBrochure and then following the call up in a few days with an aim to organising an appointment.
The initial contract will last one week. If the pilot scheme is successful during this week, the candidate may be offered a placement of up to 2 months on database creation and diary booking and possibly a more permanent role of longer than this in appointments management, and maintaining the database.
The successful candidate will be highly competent in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, and Outlook and have a medium to high typing rate.
The first interview will be conducted over the phone with some basic questions so that we can get an idea of whether you’re a good fit for us.
Based in North London, you will be required to work between 930-530 making calls between 10-5, with one hour for lunch optional. Parking on residential roads around the office is free or the office is approximately a 25 minute walk from a jubilee line tube station.
Remuneration during week 1: Hourly rate of: £6.50 ph flat rate no bonuses
Remuneration after the first week if asked to stay: £negotiable and likely to include generous bonuses
