I am a single parent with a 17 year old son and a 16 year old girl. Looking for a 3 bed property in Holloway N7. Am on incapacity benefit so would be claiming housing benefit. I have a friend who is willing to pay an extra 500 on top per month for the right place.
I have all furniture but want a place that has curtains, carpet or wood floor and not needing much work done to it.
Will consider other areas nearby if exceptionally nice and near a tube station. Am a bit wary of agents as I had one call me yesterday who got very aggressive because I couldnt do a 5pm appointment today. I was willing to do early morning today or anytime Sunday or Tuesday and he turned really nasty and made me upset. He did do me one big favour though. Before speaking to him I had no idea that housing benefit would pay 1500 per month for a three bed place.
