Description
I bought this as my first proper road bike, having only ridden off road before.
I used it for my 75 mile daily round trip down dual carraigeways and it never missed a beat.
Only selling due to credit crunch, can't justify keeping all vehicles, so sticking with my car for now.
Straight after passing my test the insurance was only £180 for a year.
I averaged 55mpg, costing me almost exactly £33 for my weekly 450 miles.
It's plenty fast enough for me.
In the last year it's had -
- New Rear tyre
- New brake discs and pads
- New Fork Seals
- New Battery
- New Mirrors (originals also included)
I had it fully overhauled just before it went into dry storage for the winter.
This included the following new parts.
- Spark Plugs
- Coils & HT Leads
- Fuel Filter
- CDI Unit
- Wiring loom re-insulated
- Brake hose and fluid change
- Oil change
It has these modifications :
- Goodridge Braided hoses (best upgrade on any bike, makes the brakes twice as responsive and sharp)
- Number plate light from a mercedes
- Smoked smaller indicators
- Chrome slimline mirrors (not pictured)
- Renthal Bars (great riding position, especially in traffic)
- Great rear carry rack, perfect for a bag or helmet.
- Rear wheel hugger, included but never got round to fitting it.
The only bad thing i can think of at the moment is that the rear tyre had a slow puncture before it went into dry storage.
I do have a pair of brand new tires which can be included and fitted at extra cost.
It has a couple of minor marks here and there, but generally cleans up really nicely.
Comes with 2 keys and quite a bit of paperwork. It is still MOT'd and taxed and would certainly not need anything for next years MOT.

My dad has a van i can borrow to deliver it within a reasonable distance.
