Description
Hello, thank you for reading this advert. It probably means you are looking for a place to live in this area. This is really handy since, as luck would I have it, I am letting a room in this area!
I'm looking for a nice, tidy, non-smoking amicable flatmate who is gay friendly (or gay), male or female, who likes the area and is responsible as well as respectful of others, meaning our neighbours and our house rules (like, don't burn the place down, silly stuff like that).
A natural ability to smile will help.
The feel of the flat is laid back and easy-going. The place is spacious and very light and airy. It is located on the top floor of a 2 story building and it is bathed in light most of the day.
It has a very nice roof terrace which is a must-have for Summer -ideal for dinner-parties and, of course, tanning.
Or simply stargazing... (Cue soft music) yeah right, in London! LOL
Ideally, you should be either employed or a University student, sorry no couples, pets or DHSS.
The rent is £110. 00 per week exclusive of bills.
The area: Well, Stokey, as the locals call it, is a very nice area with a trendy and buzzing High Street not too far from home. The area has many trendy shops, bookstores and second-hand shops, and there’s a couple of supermarkets nearby.
As for distance to the West End and the rest of civilization well… not too far.
Bus 106 takes you straight to Finsbury Park from Manor Road, and from there it is about 20 minutes to Oxford Circus on the Victoria Line. Handy for shopping, clubbing, meeting friends, cinema evenings, whatever takes your fancy.
If you are one of those fortunate enough to work in the City, (bless) Liverpool Street is about 10-15 minutes from Stoke Newington Station.
If you are going away on your Hols, and you are a Stansted supremo, Tottenham Hale is our nearest Airport-like-shuttle-type-stat ion.
Less than 10 minutes from Manor House tube (Picadilly Line).
About me...
I drink coffee and tea
I like to read fiction and History books
I like to travel
I like to chat about politics or History but I also talk about non-transcendental things, like, did you watch Mad Men last night? (I’m so addicted!)
I like films that make you think
I like music a lot
I like comedy, on TV, on film, and in life
I like cold weather
So yeah, that's me in a nutshell.
If after reading all of this you'd like to be my flatmate (ahhhh) please get in touch!
Looking forward to hearing from you.
