Description
“Club Creations” can turn you from a complete beginner into a confident podium dancer in one day! This beginners course for adults will teach you the secrets professional dancers use to look great on the dance floor, master easy routines and combinations used in videos and on stage, make simple moves look fantastic, find your own ‘freestyle’ and more! Look fabulous and feel great!
Ever wanted to learn to podium dance like the nightclub dancers or do you love to strut your stuff on the dancefloor and want to learn more?
Club Creations is a 2 hour introductory class that uses the best dance anthems as its soundtrack and can teach you how!
Freestyle dancing is a mixture of many styles of dance, including jazz, street, disco and more. The combination of all these is called ‘freestyle’ because each dancer has their own way of putting all the moves together. In this course we give you the basic moves in a number of styles and teach you how to ‘freestyle’ too, giving you a chance to dance just like the nightclub dancers! This course also teaches you fun routines which you can use later out on the dancefloor!
Don’t worry if you’ve never danced before, because this course is designed especially for complete beginners and will take you through the basics at your pace before moving on to the next step.
What's in the workshop?
This workshop is a 2 hour class for beginners.
We start with a warm to get you ready for the hard work!
Next we learn to build blocks of choreography, and how to fit this together for freestyle
You'll learn how to create your own 'freestyle'
We'll look at the types of podium dance you see in Clubs and let you in on the 'cheats' the pro dancers use.
Next you'll learn some flair moves, using the floor.
Finally you'll incorporate it into a podium dance freestyle session.
You don't need to be an experienced dancer.
WHY NOT?
Because all the choreography we use is beginners level. If you are already a dancer, then you can build on this during your freestyle and add harder moves.
The aim of this course is not to teach you dance routines, but to teach you how to put small bits of choreography into 15 or 20 minute podium dance sets.
