ABOUT ROLE
PURPOSE
The lead role in developing effective IT solutions which meet the strategic and operating needs of the Group Finance Directorate
ROLE DEFINITION
Accountable for development of all Systems that are critical to Group Finance operation (including Prophet, Magnitude, FDC, reporting tools, data models, Oracle GL etc.)
Responsible for improving the financial processes of Group Financial Control through the use of IT tools developed by GFSS
Develop and execute systems sourcing strategy (from development to support of onshore / offshore solutions).
To direct the contracts with third party suppliers of IT development
To embed the knowledge of GCT workstream into a core cadre of team
EXPERIENCE
Demonstrates record of leading complex technical Financial Systems (i.e. consolidation tools) projects from scoping to successful delivery
Experience of working with a culturally diverse range of business teams
Experience of managing end-to-end global projects
Proven credibility in field of expertise
Managing multi-disciplined teams.
