ROLE DEFINITION
Group Financial Systems and Strategy is responsible for the overall strategy, development & service delivery of IT systems & services for the Group Finance directorate. This involves leveraging value for BUs through the development of the Global Finance Strategy/IT blueprint & then ensuring that the objectives are met
Reporting to GFSS Head of Change, you will be responsible for the design, development and testing of complex consolidation functionality in Cartesis Magnitude

ROLE DEFINITION
Responsible for leading the design, build and testing of complex consolidation functionality in Cartesis Magnitude
Works with key customers to understand the accounting treatment related to consolidation and translates these requirements into an appropriate design
Responsible for developing test scenarios, test data and also executing these tests in the new versions of the consolidation system that will develop over time
Guides users through User Acceptance Testing and trains them in the operation of the consolidation functionality
CONTEXT
IT is critical to help Group Finance achieve its deliverables to the business – most of which have a high profile internally and externally
Perform detailed business and system analysis related to how the system needs to support the complex accounting requirements of the Aviva Group
Represent GFSS and interact with customers
Perform quality assurance work with developers on design decisions
