ROLE DEFINITION
Group Financial Systems and Strategy is responsible for the overall strategy, development & service delivery of IT systems & services for the Group Finance directorate. This involves leveraging value for BUs through the development of the Global Finance Strategy/IT blueprint & then ensuring that the objectives are met
Reporting to GFSS Head of Change, you will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of a number of systems that are critical to Group Finance. Principally this relates to Cartesis Magnitude but also involves Business Objects, Crystal Analysis and Crystal Reports Works within a team of IT professionals Contributes to departmental and business strategy
ROLE DEFINITION
Responsible for leading the design of future versions of the group consolidation system
Works with key customers to understand business requirements and leads the translation of these into an appropriate design
Manages a small team of IT professionals delivering the design
Advises developers on the best implementation approach
Participates in testing, handover of the system to production and helps resolve the complex post production support issues that first or second line support cannot fix
