The National Accounts department within 3663 is split into several sectors concentrating on specific market arenas. National Accounts work across all trading divisions within our business including Frozen, Fresh and Chilled, Ambient, Non Foods, Catering Equipment and MyMarket.
The role of the National Account Manager is to maximise all opportunities for 3663 whilst meeting and exceeding customer expectations by offering a variety of tailored solutions. As National Account Manager, you will manage and develop both existing and prospect accounts in addition to managing profitable sales growth within an assigned portfolio of accounts. This role is within the Hotels and Consortia sector dealing primarily with Consortia based UDM accounts.
You will be preparing and implementing a long term business development plan for all accounts and gaining both internal and client acceptance and commitment to the plan. It is essential to create a seamless interface between 3663 and the client. You will be responsible for the production and presentation of all tenders, assisting and advising in all aspects of menu planning and recipe development and producing forecasts where required for ongoing, promotional and seasonal business. In addition, you will be responsible for the communication of all account activity to 3663 depots and other functions, as appropriate, including working with 3663's senior management team. You will be organising and providing customer statistics where required, developing and building on a prospect database, and liaising with those targeted accounts ultimately resulting in award of new business. Your key accountabilities also include reporting on all competitor activity and market intelligence, and managing all cost budgets within the agreed levels whilst achieving and exceeding profit and 'rofe' targets. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of all aspects of contracts and agreements including the commercial viability of each managed account.
