Description
AEGON UK Life and Pensions was established in October 2003 and brings together all life and pensions operations within one business. It includes the businesses AEGON Individual Protection, Scottish Equitable, Scottish Equitable International and AEGON UK Services.
Brief Description of the Department:
We are looking to recruit customer-focused individuals who enjoy the challenge of working in a quality-driven Contact Centre, which is based at Scottish Equitable House. You will enjoy talking with and solving customers’ queries, taking pride in delivering exceptional service at all times to meet the needs of both the customer and the business. You should enjoy working as part of a team and building effective relationships with internal customers.
Responsibilities
Provide post-sales service to all our customers including Independent Financial Advisors, Policy Holders and Scheme Administrators.
Handle inquiries as they arise in a professional manner under tight deadlines, without compromising on quality.
Working as part of a team and building effective relationships with internal customers.
Experience of working to tight deadlines.
Requirements
Essential:
One year’s work experience, either in a face-to-face or telephone-based customer facing role, preferably in a team-based environment.
Strong verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with customers and handle customers sensitively when required.
Strong customer focus coupled with excellent listening skills.
Ability to work as part of team, including a track record of cooperation and learning from others.
Ability to produce quality error-free work and solve problems under pressure, and maintain focus even with more routine tasks.
Goal orientated.
Desirable:
Previous experience of working within a Contact Centre environment.
Working within a Financial Services environment.
