Description: GENERAL SUMMARY: Performs engineering work associated with the analysis, design, and development of computer hardware, firmware, embedded systems, and/or operating systems; works under general supervision; performs additional duties as assigned. PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Duties include supporting the Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation Systems (BICES) located at the Joint Analysis Center at RAF Molesworth, UK. As. a Computer Systems Engineer/Technical Assistant perform assigned duties in the areas of system technical plans. policies, and procedures. Perform project management In areas of network modernization and migration, new database server Implementation, Web environment design and deployment, and security policy maintenance. Attend and contribute to high-level multi-national Information systems interoperability conferences. Publish minutes, track action items, coordinate work in process. Must be willing to relocate overseas. Relocation is provided. Required: Secret Clearance Preferred: TS/SCI Clearance EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Typically requires 5-8 years of related systems engineering experience; BS degree in an information systems related field of study (IS related degree may be waived for extensive experience in computer and network systems.)
