Description
European Business Services (EBS), based at Chorlton, south Manchester, provide financial transaction processing services to AstraZeneca's European Marketing Companies (MC's).
Working in our Sales Order to Cash function, we now need someone with German language skills. This role will involve considerable contact with our German customers, so the ability to communicate effectively in German - both verbally and in writing - is essential. You will also need excellent customer services skills - the ability to listen and clarify, understand problems and issues, be empathetic and responsive, and get things done. Part of the role is also about processing transactions, so you'll also need to be accurate and methodical, and have good systems skills.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- To deliver a professional and consistent service to EBS customers, both internal and external, using EBS and AstraZeneca systems and processes in line with agreed service levels
- To ensure that all processes and transactions are completed in an accurate and timely manner
- To adopt a flexible approach to tasks, with a view to developing new skills and knowledge and undertaking a range of activities within the team. This may also involve multi-skilling across process teams
- To manage and resolve queries in an accurate and timely manner using the SAP Query management system
- To carry out all reporting requirements accurately and within specified timescales
- To contribute to the effectiveness and continued improvement of the team and of EBS by sharing knowledge and learning with colleagues
- To take responsibility for actions and promises to customers, living the values of EBS and developing positive working relationships with customers and colleagues
- To implement and follow through any process changes to agreed standards and timescales
- To commit to new learning and development and to continually strive to improve individual and overall performance
- To identify and escalate as appropriate any potential or actual problems and issues with service levels
Minimum Requirements - Education and Experience
Your application must be able to demonstrate:
- good PC skills
- experience of working in a customer service environment
- experience of dealing with customers using both written and verbal communication skills
- excellent verbal and written German
The following experience would also be desirable:
- experience of working in a high volume transaction environment
- experience of working in an acounts / financial processing environment
- familiarity with SAP
- experience of working within a change environment
