What we do
Atkins' Transport Systems provides professional and independent consultancy services for the investigation, implementation and evaluation of multi-modal intelligent transportation systems.
Intelligent Transport Systems are being used increasingly to maximise the use of existing infrastructure networks and encourage the use of the public transport infrastructure.

What we look for
Transport Systems are interested in people who can demonstrate a sound technical background in a relevant discipline at either first or second degree level. This includes, for example, electrical, electronic, mechanical or systems engineering and also those who have a computer science, mathematical or science related degree. We are particularly attracted by people who demonstrate an interest in the Transportation sector.
The ability to communicate effectively with clients and operate in a competitive and commercial environment is essential. Minimum degree classification is usually 2.2.
