Description
NOTE: if you're inclined to answer this posting with a template letter without reading it first, please don't. I respect other people's time and expect the same in return.
I'm a 29 years old, IT professional with a stable employment situation working for Google. I'm looking to rent a 1 bedroom flat (absolutely NO: bedsits/studios/lower ground floors/flat sharing or [ex-]council flats) within a short commute (~20 minutes) from London Victoria. I'd like to pay not more than £600 pcm
You can rest assured that I can take good care of a flat, just as if it was my own. If we decide to go ahead, I'll be glad to show you the photos of the apartment I'm currently living in, or we can arrange for you to have a look yourself. I can also provide references if necessary.
However there are couple crucial requirements I have (please make sure you're well aware of these before replying):
1. I plan to stay in London for the foreseeable future and I'd prefer to rent a flat for at least one year and then extend the contract if we're both happy to do so. Thus you would be you willing to sign a 12 month minimum term contract.
2. I do require a *written* Assured Shorthold Tenancy contract, draft of which I'd like to review, ideally before viewing. It's not that I'm a fan of bureaucracy but I do believe having clear rules that protect the interests of both parties is a good thing and helps to keep the relationship in a healthy condition.
3. I have a broadband connection that I'd like to keep due to very specific network access requirements (we can discuss that later if necessary and I don't think that would be a problem)
4. I need to serve my current landlord a 30 days non-renewal notice, hence I would be able to move in 28 days after we both sign the contract.
If this sounds too formal and/or strict then we probably have mutually exclusive interests, otherwise if you need an honest and reasonable tenant, I'll be happy to hear from you at:
