Description
Meissen pair of candelabra first modeled c.1792. Possibly representing Ganymede a young Trojan prince who was snatched by eagles to become the cup bearer to the god Zeus. Crossed swords in underglaze blue to both candelabra. Both with incised model number K 49 and painter's number 25 in orange.
