COMPUTER SYSTEMS ENGINEER II - ANTEON

GENERAL SUMMARY: Performs engineering work associated with the analysis, design, and development of computer hardware, firmware, embedded systems, and/or operating systems; works under general supervision; performs additional tasks as assigned. PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Duties include supporting the Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation Systems (BICES) located at the Joint Analysis Center at RAF Molesworth, UK. As a Computer Systems Engineer/Technical Assistant perform assigned duties in the areas, of system technical plans, policies, and procedures. Perform project management in areas of network modernization and migration, now database server Implementation, Web environment design and deployment, and security policy maintenance. Attend and contribute to high-level multi-national information systems Interoperability conferences. Publish minutes, track action items, coordinate work in progress. Required: TS/SCI Clearance EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 2-5 years of related systems engineering experience. Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience SKILLS AND ABILITIES¿¿ Writing and speaking skills arc essential. Strong problem solving skills needed. Ability to plan and organize projects. People skills are a must European language skills a definite plus. Must be willing to relocate overseas. Work well and Integrate into a small team environment. Ability to plan and organize systems Integration and/or SW fielding projects. Work independently as required. Ability to consult on development initiatives as relates to BICES. TRAVEL 5% travel requirement.
