Description
Requirements (a must)
- proficient with Photoshop and Illustrator;
- a portfolio to demonstrate Photoshop & Illustrator skills; so basically vector design & photo manipulation is pretty much what we are looking for at this point
(skills & technique is a must; ideas will come when needed).
- previous work experience is not necessary, but ability to work on Photoshop & Illustrator is a must, you will have no time to learn while you go; so cheating on your portfolio is not a good idea too.
- be quick, sharp-minded; easy going and always in touch
Be aware:
- work from home until at least March 2010;
- even though the hours will be pretty much flexible; meeting tight deadlines will be required, thus a daily commitment is preferred
- telephone and Internet communication will be the main point of contact with creative director & clients (thus sticking to clients' and CD's briefs is a prime requirement in the process)
Personal skills:
- cannot stress more: responsible & reliable, as working from distance
- creative but flexible (!!)
- time management & multitasking
- attention to detail, attention to detail, attention to detail.
Tasks:
- working on concepts for logo, branding, print advertising, web
- researching ideas for projects (ie logo, web, print)
- occasional data input tasks
- art-work (taking CD's drafts and reworking into required format; ie. magazine, brochure)
- creative work & design (for web and/or print)
Summary:
As mentioned previous work experience is not needed, which though doesn't mean that we are looking for anyone who can crop out or desaturate and image or draw a line on illustrator. We are looking for a person with creative mind who is about to set foot on his or her creative path. We will be delighted to introduce the right person with more responsibilities as we go along and to welcome him or her to our brand new studio after March 2010.
