Key Responsibilities
Delivering, in conjunction with the partner teams, the fee target of £xxxxx across the UK firm for the sector/segment
Take ownership of lead generation activity for the sector/segment
Identify targets for BDO Stoy Hayward within the sector/segment
Influence and manage all stages of the sales cycle
Challenge and support formal proposals/tender processes for the sector/segment
Champion best practice throughout the firm in its sales activities
Act as a coach/mentor to the partner/manager group and to more junior members of the MSC department
Working with the market planning team maintain a high level of understanding of the business trends, competitor activity and issues facing the sector/segment
Produce a sales plan for the sector/segment
Developing and managing the sales budget for the sector/segment
Ownership and interpretation of the sales pipeline report for the sector/segment
Working closely with partners and the Market planning team to develop appropriate pricing strategy for the sector
Working closely with the firm’s Market planning and Brand & Communications teams to develop appropriate go-to-market value propositions
Ownership for the development of sector specific credentials
Supporting campaigns and events organised by the firms Brand & Communications team
Working with the market planning team to understand the competitive landscape as it affects the sector/segment to bring this knowledge to bare on sales opportunities

Experience/Qualifications
6+ years of a sales/business development role
2+ years in a senior position
Professional qualification and/or demonstrable commitment to ongoing learning and development
Demonstrable track record of revenue generation
Graduate
