Entry requirements:
A minimum of B in English & Maths at GCSE. Be on track to achieving or have achieved 280 UCAS points (excluding general studies). Eligible to work within the UK. A personality that fits well into a team culture
BSG Background:
The group deals with the accounting, bookkeeping and auditing requirements of small and medium sized businesses which comprise companies, partnerships and sole traders. As well as completing the annual compliance work for these, the group also undertakes ad hoc work eg cashflow forecasts and assistance with business plans.
Role:
Initially, the AAT junior’s role will be to learn how to prepare a set of accounts from source records under supervision which will entail a large amount of analysis work on spreadsheets. They will also undertake audits of companies under the supervision of the senior.
The role averages approximately 50% in the office and 50% on site at clients and therefore access to a car is preferable.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.
Responsibilities:
Work as part of a team to ensure clients are provided with excellent service.
Be conscientious in studying for the AAT qualification and once qualified continuing on to ACCA qualification.
Training / career:
The firm offers a comprehensive and competitive study package. We use BPP for AAT and ACCA training (a top London college) and give block release study leave.
