You will be responsible for developing and implementing formal product plans and negotiating with suppliers to achieve range, sales and gross margin requirements. You will be ensuring accurate maintenance of product and supplier databases in addition to having responsibility for all suppliers' terms. It is equally important for the role to develop and manage an effective sourcing strategy and to work with suppliers and marketing to develop promotional activity whilst taking responsibility for product quality issues.
You will have a minimum of 2 years Catering Equipment buying experience and proven influencing and negotiating skills. In addition, you will be of graduate calibre with excellent interpersonal skills. There will be a requirement to travel both within the UK and Abroad.
