Stock Control is responsible for all areas relating to stock accuracy and keeping stock losses to a minimum. This includes P I accuracy, stock rotation, damages and re-packaging product.
On a daily basis you will be checking perpetual inventory counts, checking shelf life of product, updating product alert and isolation spreadsheets and counting product in security cages.
In addition, you will action quarantine and return to supplier notices and cover holiday for night shift stock control employees. You will report to the Stock Control Supervisor and work closely with Administration and Buying departments.
You will have a common sense approach to your work, good numeracy skills, a forklift licence and PC skills with Excel spreadsheets would be an advantage. You will be a team player and be flexible in approach.
