Description
This part-time role will consist of the following:-
Management of a portfolio of strategic Restaurant merchant accounts in accordance with EMEA Client Management strategy:
To achieve 100% SRG account retention, through effective customer relationship management, demonstration of American Express value proposition, re-negotiation of existing merchant contracts, and management of all cancellation threats.
To independently identify and create strategic programs in order to grow charge volume and strengthen relationships.
To maximise effectiveness of and return from joint marketing funds for the benefit of both American Express and the merchants.
To pro-actively develop and implement new revenue-generating initiatives.
To maximise operational efficiency, lower cost-to-serve and ensure profitability of accounts for merchant and GES alike.
To ensure integrity through active management of Pricing, Fraud, Operations & Suppression.
Required Qualifications Proven ability to independently drive and consistently deliver excellent results in a very challenging competitive environment.
Effectiveness at creating and delivering presentations, influencing others and negotiating at all levels up to and including the Boardroom.
Demonstrated capability in creating and executing tactical and strategic marketing solutions with large external customers
High level of business awareness and financial acumen including ability to understand key financial drivers and draw accurate conclusions from them.
Ability to build and develop extensive network of internal and external business contacts and partnerships.
Willingness to challenge the status quo, to drive change and to operate independently and pro-actively in a dynamic environment.
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
