Responsibilities Project Manager - AEB Investment Governance & Strategic Initiatives
This position is responsible for the facilitation of the Technologies Project Investment Review Group (PIRG), the Investment Review Board (IRB), and AEB Technologies goal-setting and assessment process. As the key facilitator for the AEB technology investment review groups, the Project Manager will partner closely with AEB Finance and facilitate sessions with senior AEB leaders. In addition, the Project Manager will quality-check submissions, validate assumptions, and ensure robust business cases are presented to senior management.
The position is also responsible for co-ordination of strategic initiatives relating to IT strategy, including the tracking, reporting and analysis of key concepts, as required. This will involve co-ordination of partners and vendors that are involved in the creation and maintenance of the IT Strategy
The Project Manager will help facilitate PFA and Project Architect initiatives and will be considered as part of the Architecture community. The Project Manager will also be responsible for liaison between AEBFST and the AEB User Support Groups – helping to drive and co-ordinate joint initiatives
The Project Manager will drive the AEB Technologies goals process and be responsible for leading measurement on a quarterly basis across the VP teams. In addition, the incumbent will own the production of Business Partner Briefings (Scorecards) with inputs from VP teams and the AET Enterprise PMO.
This role can be performed either in New York, London, Poole or Burgess Hill.
Required Qualifications Strong financial acumen, including an understanding of investment decisioning principles and an appreciation of accounting (relating to treatment of hardware and software expense).
Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills. Proven ability to influence without authority and working with senior leaders.
A proven strategic thinker, with a creative approach to problem solving, the incumbent should also have proven track record of results delivery and decision making.
Strong Project Management skills and experience in setting and measuring organizational goals.
