Responsibilities This position is responsible for the management and general direction of FMS’ online business – i.e., internet execution platform including the management and monthly reporting of the platform’s performance. The position is also responsible for working with the Global Head of Marketing for marketing and client management and with Marketing and FMS Technology for ‘onboarding‘ clients as well as functionality improvement. As this platform is a new technology platform for FMS with a period of gradual transitioning of business from existing delivery platforms to this, we anticipate that in the initial stages this function will require 25% of this person’s time.
Required Qualifications a.Strategic definition, development, management and reporting of the platform’s operating metrics. Definition will require working with other FMS business leaders to ensure alignment to global FMS, completeness of reporting and with FMS Business Mgt. for production.
b.Management of the platform’s integrity to include: DI intervention pick up, direction of online support staff in liaison with FMS Technology and where required the Heads of Sales in the global centres. It is anticipated that the online support staff will have a dotted line report to this function for the direction and coordination of activities.
c.Alignment of non system processes that are required to support FMS’ internet execution program to include margin management and netting processes.
d.Management of the client and trader experience; monitoring quality of intervention, client problem response times, completion of client requests, analysis of client feedback, trader issues. This also includes ‘policing’ client activity for inappropriate activity that may unreasonably place the Bank at financial risk.
e.Responsible for on line model integrity including identification of changes to the model in anticipation of or response to client, competition and market environments.
Location preferred is London. New York may be considered.
