Faithful and Gould is one of the world’s largest project and cost management consultancies, employing over 2000 staff, with a turnover in excess of £70 million and an expanding office base in the Asia Pacific region, Continental Europe, the UK and USA.
Due to continued growth our Leeds office is currently looking to recruit a number of Planning Supervisors (Health & Safety) with experience within the Construction sector.
You will be responsible for providing full planning supervision services in all technical and contractual aspects of professional practice.
Requirements
Applicants must have the following skills and attributes in order to fulfil the scope of this role:
Technical
Relevant qualification/exoerience within Health & Safety/Environmental Management/Construction related discipline
NEBOSH qualified (minimum General certificate)
Good IT skills and working knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
Demonstrable knowldge and understanding of the component parts of CDM and other Health & Safety issues
The Person
Strong communications skills – experience of communicating with people at differing levels effectively through oral and written communication
Client Facing skills – experience of working with clients at a strategic/operational level and managing the relationships effectively
Strong Planning and Organising skills – able to prioritise workload and deadlines and manage change effectively
Effective problem resolution skills – solution orientated with the ability to manage problems and complaints assertively
Team work skills – ability to work with others to achieve team and personal targets or objectives
