Minimum Requirements - Education and Experience
Application Support experience, must have included:
Customer Facing Role(s) – at least 3 years
Working alongside customers to analyse problems and recommend solutions.
Providing Application Support expertise (2nd Line & Beyond) e.g. Product Configuration, Maintenance Activities, Use of SQL to investigate database content, bug fixes
2nd Line Application Support for 3rd Party Solutions
Provision of formal and/or informal training
Broad understanding of computer system architecture and development tools. Including:
MS Products
Client/server technologies – inc. Windows 2000 (Server) /Unix
Networking
Oracle, VB, Pearl
Web tools (eg. HTML)
Technical Skills Required
SQL
At least two, ideally more, of Oracle Forms, Documentum and Business Objects (including Repository Creation & Design) and Oracle Data Manipulation (DML)
Experience of Web Tools (eg. HTML)
Quality Management
Regularly used Quality Management processes /procedures, ideally within a regulated environment
