Accountabilities/Responsibilities
HR Strategy and Policies
Participate in the development and revision of HR strategies and policies in cooperation with skill centers and global/national business leaders.
Set and anchor long term and short term people targets and priorities aligned with local business needs and measures as well as with national/global HR objectives.
Maintain a deep understanding of the individual and organizational capabilities required to deliver the business priorities of the assigned client area.
Leadership
Provide leadership coaching and development support to client area leaders.
Counsel leaders regarding management of individuals across national/global boundaries, taking into account differing cultures, practices and legislation.
Recruitment and Manpower Planning
Develop annual staffing strategy for the client area including workforce planning, recruiting, development and rotational assignments, global mobility and internships.
Culture and Values
Promote diversity to achieve an efficient, multi-dimensional, creative and engaging working environment.
Ensure that decisions with people implications are being made in accordance with legislation, good citizenship, AstraZeneca values and policies.

Education and Experience
Degree in human resources or related field
Broad experience in Human Resources or related field
Demonstrated experience in leading organisations through significant change
Proven change/project management ability, including the ability to manage simultaneous projects
Experience of working with customer business priorities and challenges
A developed knowledge and proven experience of processes such as talent management and management of performance
