Accountability for key GI influencers within local primary care, PCO and secondary care organizations in order to develop fully integrated GI management programmes.
Develop productive partnerships with target PCO's - integrating the influence of secondary care - to develop a GI service development plan in each locality, maximise prescribing opportunities & sales vs target.
Implement an area sales plan in line with the marketing campaign & regional plans.
Develop & mobilize regional advocates for AZ GI products.
Achieve agreed standards for promoting Nexium.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities
Achieve territory sales target & objectives.
Create a cohesive account plan for the locality within targeted PCO in conjunction with other key internal stakeholders.
Establish account objectives in the context of business potential.
Identify the key decision makers & influencer framework within the targeted localities and prioritise activity based upon their relative influence on prescribing.
Agree SMART objectives & actions with Manager & territory team.
Prioritise use of all company resources in line with potential ROI.
Incorporate regional and national priorities into business & account plans.
Develop plans & progress effectively with team colleagues.
Account manage the defined PCOs
Deliver positive endorsement of AstraZeneca GI products.
Influence local joint prescribing policies to maximize prescribing opportunities.
Remove barriers and gain endorsement to prescribing of Nexium.
Gain optimal positioning of AstraZeneca GI products vs competitors in local guidelines/policy directives.
Generate direct sales opportunities via the use of audit or other patient review/generation programmes.
Build regular access to key customers to sell AstraZeneca and its products in line with the overall Company sales objectives.
Actively encourage, lead and participate in local & nation teams to deliver an account management approach to the business.
Identify opportunities for company portfolio to team colleagues - act in a disciplined way to deliver own responsibilities.
Develop and maintain close & productive working relationships with key & influential hospital customers.
Input into territory business plans - in line with area plans.
Use OnevIew to agreed standards.
Control operating expenses within agreed budgets by effective monitoring and reporting system.
Produce reports & feedback as required to line management and team colleagues.
Ensure timely and accurate administration.
Attend company meetings and ensure selling techniques meet company standards.
Operated at all times within the ABPI code of practice.
