Consisting of six defined departments, the UKMarketing company is responsible for all front line selling and marketing of AstraZeneca products, delivering the sales results for the whole UK market place.
To meet and even exceed exacting sales objectives, you’ ll sell innovative products to targeted customers within defined territories, while implementing an area sales plan in line with marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
This will involve you in face-to-face selling to GPs, practice nurses, retail chemists and, where relevant, hospitals. Ensuring selling techniques meet our high ethical standards, you’ ll organise and host clinical promotional sales meetings and symposiums, and provide regular reports to area sales managers, using information gained from high quality recording systems you yourself will be responsible for setting up and maintaining.
The Individual
Ideally ABPI qualified, you’ re a skilled negotiator and presenter with strong interpersonal and influencing skills, plus a good awareness of external competitive practice. Your commercial acumen is combined with an innovative, self-motivated and results-focused approach, and you have a proven track record in sales, ideally in the GP sector. A degree or an A level qualification in a life science will also be essential, as will a full driving licence with less than six points.
