This key role will see you sell innovative products within defined hospital territories. You’ ll effectively target customers to meet and exceed sales targets - implementing an area sales plan in line our marketing plan. In addition, you’ ll ensure you achieve our demanding standards for product promotion.
Responsibilities
We’ ll look to you to contribute to business plans, co-ordinate clinical sales meetings and ensure any expenses are within agreed budgets. It’ s a demanding but highly rewarding role that will make the most of your commercial acumen and ability to develop close working relationships with your clients.
The Individual
To succeed, it’ s essential that you’ re not only totally results-focused, but also dedicated to continuously improving your sales methods by maintaining an excellent awareness of our competitors’ practices. You’ ll also need to combine a talent for planning and organisation with a team-focused approach and, naturally, strong networking, negotiation and presentation skills.
To be considered, you must be ABPI qualified and demonstrate at least two years’ sales success in the primary/secondary care environment. Your proven record of achievement in hospital sales growth, formulary inclusions and reaching targets must be complemented by an understanding of decision making processes within hospitals and the NHS environment. A driving licence with less than six points will be essential.
