Job Description:
Responsibilities
*Responsible for ensuring that TLS maximise opportunities in tender response requests, both in the public and private commerce domains
*Manage, coordinate and execute all tender responses for and on behalf of TLS
*Maintain and update records of all available tender opportunities and control master database of all public sector contract details
*Central liaison with all functional business areas and regional business leaders to ensure timely, professional, "business-winning" tender responses coupled with functional buy-in across the organisation
*Develop business case for TLS subscription to multiple industry and governmental tender bodies, for example Achilles, thereby articulating full proposed cost-benefit trade offs
*Identify tender opportunities, submit responses and win rental business
Qualifications
*Essential blend of commercial and operational experience required to ensure both the sales and functional buy-in elements are captured and capitilised upon
*Structured time management, diligence and attention to detail are pre-requisites
*High levels of "powerpoint" usage and computer literacy are a given in this role
*Head office based in Sale to ensure adequate and timely interaction with functional leaders and access to stored data
*Process lead approach to problem solving, with ability to offer creative flair and new ideas on ways to find, win and close new tender opportunities
