Responsibilities
Retrieves purchasing contacts, including finding alternate sources of potential new customers.
Trains/contacts employees on web capabilities, explaining features and benefits, providing success stories to other employees on how our web helps them increasing sales/ reducing time on the phone utilizing presentations, meetings and other effective communication tools.
Provides customer assistance during their on-line ordering experience using chat on-line, ensuring the support has the sole purpose to place the order, and enabling customers to continue to place orders.
Provides customer feedback for customers experiencing issues with web-registration and web sales, ensuring their issues are investigated and feedback given to ensure future usage of the web ordering channel.
Identifies customers using a procurement system to place orders as an automated output from this system, uncover their e-trading options and capabilities.
Identifies current and future plans of the customers' organization and e-trading contact; extracts 2 year sales history and provides on weekly lead list to E-trading sales development specialist.
Suggests alternate ways to increase web/e-trading sales; makes suggestions to new functionality; and includes suggestions in a monthly report.
Investigates website of other vendors in our market space and reports on changes in their customer experience.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree life science or related area.
3-5 years experience in customer facing/contact role in life science industry.
A minimum of 1 year proven track record of successful tele-sales activities.
Proven experience in B2B internet environment, preferably in the Life science market place.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in French and German.
5% travel is expected.
Desired
Knowledge of GEHC Biosciences' product lines.
