Responsibilities
* With Business/Segment Leaders, play a leading role in developing the overall business strategy for HFS's Commercial Finance business. Lead S1 process.
* With HFS Industry Intelligence team, conduct market/competitive analyses to drive business decisions/actions which produce accelerated growth in volume and net income.
* Lead the development and execution of new go-to-market strategies for existing markets; including market segmentation, determination of target segments, changes in sales force deployment/incentives, and build-out of new origination channels.
* Work with other HFS/GE businesses to coordinate go-to-market approaches and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities.
* Play lead role in identifying, developing, and launching new/enhanced products. Manage NPI process.
* Lead process of identifying, prioritizing, and developing new markets; including new geographic markets (in Europe and Asia) as well as new industry sectors.
* Work with Communications team to develop and execute promotional strategies/programs.
* Use database marketing techniques to deliver better quality prospects/leads for the sales force.
* Own the strategy and execution of all lead generation programs; including telemarketing, direct mail, e-mail, web marketing, etc.
* Work with Quality and Sales to capture and analyze VOC data. Drive actions to improve transaction execution and increase customer loyalty/repeat business.
* With Finance and Business/Segment Leaders, play a leading role in evaluating pricing strategies/policies and recommend changes to improve competitiveness/ROE.
Qualifications
* College degree; concentration in Marketing and/or Finance desirable
* Commercial lending experience/savvy; good understanding of financial/risk equation
* At least 5 years strategic planning, marketing, product management, or management consulting experience in B2B environment
* Experience working with a commercial sales organization
* A passion for growth, coupled with enormous energy and strong results-orientation
* Excellent strategic thinker who can also translate strategies into concrete actions/tactical plans
* Exceptional communication and influence skills; ability to work across functions and organizational boundaries
* Strong analytical, project management and organizational skills
* Very strong financial skills/background
