Responsibilities
To provide support to business activities on the Cardiff site. You will be involved in a full range of human resource activities, including employee relations and manpower planning, recruitment, supporting organisational development and talent management development requirements.
You will provide guidance on policy and procedure to line managers and employees and support a number of UK HR projects to deliver business improvements.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will work with managers to identify issues and deliver solutions that develop and improve the business through people.
Primary responsibilities:
Developing culture focussing on performance
Supporting changing roles within new structures
Developing best practice in people management
Human Resource Planning and integration of functional projects
Employee deployment/Talent management/Resource planning
Qualifications
Post Graduate qualification in either Human Resources Management of a closely related business qualification.
3 years experience of working within a Human Resources Management environment.
A sound understanding of employment law and experience in providing an effective recruitment service, maintaining a consultative employee relations climate, managing project activities and in roles that have involved a wide range of people issues.

Good interpersonal skills, sensitivity in dealing with conflicting priorities, organisational skills and attention to detail will be key to success. Confidentiality, integrity and discretion together with a cheerful and friendly personality are equally important.
