Description
This is the kind of person we’re looking for:
A straight talking, financially aware team player with 3 – 5 years CIMA post qualification experience or the equivalent.
The right person will have experience of applying investment management techniques to large scale outsourcing contracts and major bid proposals and will know the legal, regulatory and accounting standards environment very well.
This is what the job entails:
Financial support to a £50m revenue operating unit or specialist central function, guiding decisions, managing risks and helping fellow members of the management team to achieve their financial objectives.
Managing operations. Deputising for the Senior Financial Manager to maintain day-to-day running of the unit or function and perhaps managing a small team of up to 5 people.
Improving performance. Monitoring and interpreting unit performance via audits and other metrics relating to compliance, revenue and margin, recommending improvements and helping to deliver them.
Input to strategy and new business bids. Contributing to the formulation of business strategy and making an input to the financial structure of bids and new business proposals
