Senior Financial/Management Accountant. CIMA, UK GAAP, ZH (zero humbug)
This is the kind of person we’re looking for:
A straightforward accountant with 2 years experience post CIMA and detailed understanding of UK GAAP and international accounting standards.
The right person will be highly competent in the interpretation of P&L, balance sheet and cashflow statements and have an awareness of risk management, funding and business strategies.
This is what the job entails:
Financial information and support within a £10m revenue operating unit or specialist central function, controlling costs, helping to manage risks and assisting fellow members of the management team to achieve their financial objectives.
Managing operations. Deputising for the Finance Manager or Senior Finance Manager to maintain day-to-day running of the unit or function and perhaps managing a small team of up to 5 people.
Preparing reports and accounts. Accuratemonthly operating unit reviews, management reports for line and functional managers and annual accounts in line with corporate standards. Highlights variances and other issues for colleagues.
