Description
In proposals and bids to prospective clients our architects give input to the company's service delivery capability by providing co-ordinated total solution designs, with costs, which have been subject to appropriate governance. Once a solution has been delivered we are responsible for its technical integrity and the ongoing service provision.
Job Outline:
The candidate must be a competent design authority on smaller/medium scale solutions, demonstrating an understanding of the customers business and commercial issues. You will be able provide clients with technical consultancy and identify, design and deliver smaller/medium architectures, strategies and specific solutions while overseeing the work of a small team.
Specific Skills & Experience:
Well developed communication skills, demonstrating technical leadership.
Expert in use of chosen methods and tools - possibly MBCS C.Eng,
Thorough knowledge of information technologies and their functions
Experienced in a wide range of technology areas
Broad solution awareness
Customer and business orientation
Effective working relationships with customers' IT management
Minimum 2 years previous IT experience in a system specialist type role
