‘Avebury’ is what we call our head office. Based in Milton Keynes it’s the nerve centre of the business’ activities including Retail and Distribution Operations, Commercial Finance, Buying/Merchandising, E-Commerce, Marketing and Supply Chain. With a role here you’ll be helping to shape our customers’ retail experience and drive our business to greater success. Commercial finance provides financial and commercial support to a fast moving and constantly evolving business with a £billion annual turnover, over 600 stores and over 23,000 employees.
The Role
You’ll co-ordinate and manage promotional forecasting in conjunction with marketing and trading teams. This will help support the marketing schedule for flyers and broadsheet advertising including the co-ordination of tactical activities. You’ll manage the production of financial evaluation, weekly performance indicators as well as monthly variances and provide analytical support for marketing initiatives and promotional planning. You will budget and plan the forecasting process for the Marketing department cost centres and business advertising and promotional spend.
The Person
As a professional graduate you already have some strong analytical and commercial experience from a large corporate background. You have the ability to co-ordinate a variety of data from mixed sources and influence effectively across a broad range of teams. You have a clear understanding
