Assistant Stock Controller - Argos Direct Stocked In
You will assist the Stock Controller in formulating and delivering the stock strategy for Argos Direct Stocked In, including: budgeting, planning and forecasting accuracy, and implementing newly developed supplier strategies. Using your communication and influencing skills you will need to work closely with the buying/trading teams, other stock teams and distribution to resolve stock availablity and to initiate new techniques and procedures.
The Person
Being exceptionally well organised, remaining unflustered working to tight deadlines, and staying confident and self-motivated are essential qualities here. Your degree, combined with at least two years' experience as a Merchandiser with a busy, successful retailer, will also have given you great interpersonal skills, as well as the decisiveness, confidence, initiative approach and all-round business acumen that you will need to shine in this challenging role.
