Description
The Role
To provide a comprehensive administration service, and secretarial support, to the ARG, Project Management Team. The formulation and typing of contractor payment certificates and forwarding for the necessary authorisation to ensure payment timescales are met The formulation of Purchase Orders, issuing to suppliers and entering onto tracking documents General filing, including the preparation of new files and archiving as necessary Opening of post, date stamping, distributing and re-directing as necessary Answering telephone, dealing with queries and re-directing where appropriate. Audio / copy typing of letters, memos and spreadsheets Photocopying correspondence, specifications etc as required The job holder will be expected to have day to day responsibility to prioritise their workload to ensure payment certificates receive immediate attention.
The Person
Computer literate with good knowledge of both Microsoft Word and Excel Confident telephone manner Numerate and analytical The job holder will be expected to seek out information which may be required by other parties and by developing and understanding of the processes direct enquires to the appropriate teams where not necessarily property related. Someone who has had responsibility working in a busy environment and who is able to prioritise accordingly without guidance.
